A masterpiece is being witnessed by the Indian audience across the globe. A magnum opus was canvased on the Indian screen this Friday. The result was overwhelming, with a whooping 165 crores worldwide collection in just 3 days. It stood ahead of all the Indian movies released so far, beating the most prominent Bollywood movies like Dhoom:3, Chennai Express, PK, Ek Tha Tiger, Singam Returns. It is not just a jewel in the crown, but it is the crown of Indian Cinema. It climbed the Hollywood charts, being the 8th highest grosser on Friday standing behind Minions and Jurassic World, collecting $1.3 million.
Here are 10 major reasons for the success of Baahubali:

10. New Heights in Publicity
Baahubali got the smartest producers and they perked the movie to new peaks. They publicized the movie at Cannes' Film Festival and closed deals with two biggest production houses 'Dharma Productions' for Hindi and 'Studio Green' for Tamil. They sold the satellite rights of Telugu version for 25 crores. Baahubali even holds the record of the biggest poster in the world at Kochi. 


9. Being Released in Four Major Languages
Baahubali proved that a universal story will be received well by audience belonging to any place or language. Baahubali became a huge success in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages, but its Telugu version reached greatest heights and set new records in both the Telugu speaking states and in US. 

8. Art of Mahishmati
The sketches of Sabu Cyril and his team are so lively, taking us to a ride to the world of Mahishmati. The art brought to life the kingdom that was grand and huge, which we have never witnessed before in an Indian Cinema. The design of armory and war machines are splendid.

7. VFX and CGI of the Epic
This film was very much dependent on VFX and Computer Graphics. 17 VFX companies worked for Baahubali and the producers spent 60 crores alone on graphics of the film. The product of 100 days of non-stop work of many geniuses is the world of Baahubali. The way they brought to life the vision of SS Rajamouli is very appreciable. The movie reached the status of an Epic never before on Indian Screen because of their hard work.

 6. Captures of  Senthil Kumar
Senthil Kumar proved himself with Rajamouli's previous projects 'Eega' and 'Magadheera'. But this time the canvas was even bigger and he managed to capture the extravaganza. His photography was amazing in aerial shots of Mahishmati, war scenes, waterfall scenes and night effect fight. He reached international standards in the making of this film.

5. Peter Heins' Action Sequences
The action sequences throughout the film are amazingly choreographed by the ace action director, Peter Heins. Especially the fight shot in snow and the 20 minute war sequence leaves the audience awestruck. The war strategy in the film is based on the Trishul Vyuh, inspired from Mahabharatha. This was shot for 120 days and you will see the transformation of Indian cinema in those shots. 

4. The Belief and Dare of Producers
Ever heard of a South Indian cinema doing bigger than Bollywood movies except for Rajni's Robot. In terms of collection and craze, Bollywood is way ahead of the Indian cinema and ruled box-office in every way possible. The market value of the biggest hit in Tollywood is around 80 crores whereas the budget of Baahubali is 250 crores. 3. The Cast of Baahubali
The whole cast of Baahubali, brought the story to life. The importance of each character is publicized through the motion pictures before the release of film. 
Prabhas, a biggest star in telugu cinema gave away 2 years for this movie and even postponed his marriage. Rana, played villain in the film being a star hero in Telugu and Hindi. Anushka and Tamanna played female lead in the movie as Devasena and Avanthika. Coming to the two most important characters you'll love in this flick are Sivagami and Kattappa, who have given the best performances for life and will be ever remembered in history of cinema.

2. SS Rajamouli & Family
Rajamouli is the biggest visionary behind the Epic. Not only him, but his family too, worked behind the project. His father Vijayandra Prasad, provided the story for the flick, his brother MM Keeravani gave spell bound music to the movie especially Re-Recording, his wife is the costume designer for this periodic cinema and Keeravani's wife MM Sreevalli as the Production controller. The vision of this family turned out to be a massive success.
