!ndia…..!ndia…..India it has been 4 years as India became world
champion in 2011. Now here comes ICC WC 2015 in which India is defending
champion. It’s the time for selectors for selecting a good team so that to keep
back our title as a world champion. Keeping all terms and conditions in mind 9
degrees is suggesting 30 probable for team India for ICC WC 2015. Hoping that
India will defend its title.
1.ROHIT SHARMA :
Rohit has been
scoring consistently since been promoted as opener But he never played on
abroad pitches as opener in spite of having good scores when played at other
positions. He has the capability to score even on bowling pitches. After a break
of two-months injury he came back with a record.
2.VIRAT KOHLI:
As we all know
kohli as Mr.Consistent and he proved that in captaincy also. Even anything
miracle can happen, it can’t stop kohli from playing at 3rd position
unless he is effected with any internal problems like fitness. This is how
Kohli made impact in team India in past 6 years.
3.SHIKHAR DHAWAN:
Dhawan who
entered into team India with two big innings in both test and ODI formats but
he lost his consistency in the middle. Later he came back with good performance
which has been persisted with big scores. He had to show his consistency where
rohit is confirmed as opener.
4.SURESH RAINA:
Suresh raina who is great batsman in
T20 format but he left Asia cup with some good innings and after long time he
came into squad with West indies and srilanka series and still has chances to
get into WC squad as he has experience playing in abroad with good no. of
scores. Raina should control his aggression and must play slowly to get back
into the track.
5.GAUTHAM GAMBHIR:
To see some experience in young team selectors might prefer
the senior opener Gambhir. It can happen if he prove out himself something
special. Gambhir who came back into Test team needs to keep his place scoring
well in Australian series. He is just a reserve player but as he is experienced
player he might be taken into squad.
6.MS DHONI:
Well Of Course, MS Dhoni will be the keeper for Indian team
as he is the Captain. There is nothing to tell because we all know how he plays
and is responsible for many victories and also having great experience is
another plus point.
7.YUVARAJ SINGH:
Yuvarajsingh as we all know his
important role in WC 2011. But after WC he suffered from
cancer and got cured and came back into the team. After WC 2011 he never played
such a great innings but if he improves his consistency he also might be into
WC 2015.But as of now he is a reserved player.
8.AJINKYA
RAHANE:
In spite of Rohit and Dhawanon other hand, Rahane who usually bats
in middle order can be expected to open if anyone of the openers seen to be
failing as Rahane’s normal position is opening only. He has the capability to
play even short balls but as he has less experience playing in abroad pitches
he might fail in few cases. As of
IPL helped him a lot playing with foreign players.
9.BHUVANESHWAR KUMAR:
Bhuvaneshwarkumar a young pacer who has
been front line India for past year. The way he swings the bowl is main
advantage for him as the WC is going to be conducted in Australia and New
Zealand grounds as they are good bowling pitches. He can swing the bowl in any
of the conditions and second benefit is he opens bowling for India.
10.MOHAMMAD
SHAMI:
Another young
pacer for India is Mohammad shami who entered into team India with bhuvi and is
been bowling from other side as bhuvi opens bowling. His specialization is in
bowling short balls and Yorkers as this will be main advantage for him. He must
be also taken into team as of pitch is considered.
11.ISHANTH
SHARMA:
Ishanth who gave his best in test
series against England. As his height is main advantage to bowl bouncy balls as
the pitches of Australia and New Zealand also include bouncy pitches. His
experience must also be taken into consideration and ishanth must be selected
into team.
12.AMBATI RAYUDU:
Ambatirayudu who is selected as
probable for ICC world T20. is not just a T20 player but he has much more
experience in ODI’s than Kohli, Raina and Rohit as they played under his
captaincy in list A and U19 WC matches. Recently he had been selected into
Indian team for ODI matches and he also made his debut century. He played many
List A matches and showed his best there. Selectors must give him chance to
prove himself.
13.MURALI
VIJAY:
As we consider muralivijay is basically
a good test player but the percentage of selecting him into the team for ODI is
50-50. He might be considered as he played test matches in England and
Australia with good form. He is a good fielder too. He is selected into ODI
team for Sri Lanka series but he didn’t get the chance as the openers are in
such a great form.
14.ROBIN
UTHAPPA:
Uthappa a 29-year old cricketer who
played for India once upon a time and later is not selected when he is out of
form. Recently he came into the track in IPL and also been selected into team
India for ODI and T20 matches. He played well but he is also a reserve player
as Dhoni is both captain and Wicket keeper. He can be opted in dual role of a specialist opener.
15.RAVINDRA
JADEJA:
RavindraJadeja
is a left-arm orthodox bowler who is a more-than-useful lower middle order
batsman. With the World Cup 2011 in sight, Jadeja got many a chance in the ODI
format as he was the only decent option available in the 'all-rounders'
category. He performed consistently with the ball, but his performances with
the bat were nowhere close to India's expectations and his batting failures led
him to being dropped from the World Cup squad in 2011. As of now considered he
is the only consistent all-rounder let for India.
